Something that has been recently in the back of my mind is whether or not this is a cyclical bull that began from the October lows...but the low before that one lasted almost a year (if I remember correctly..). Is that how you would define a cyclical move, a longer term low (like 1108) holding over 12-18 months, or is there a percentile assigned as a minimal gain by definition of a secondary cyclical move vs bear market rally (or a combination of both, but, if so, how much and how long..)? It'd be nice to hear a scientific definition of one.
