No, Fyo, there is no twisting of words. Either AMD will help Microsoft, or they won't. You are suggesting that they work with Microsoft to achieve system level optimizations. That is the same as suggesting they will "help Microsoft". I see no difference in the wording. Besides, I am not disagreeing that AMD has a vested interest in Opteron optimizations. I am saying that they will not reach the same level of the Intel compilers. There is no more free ride. They are on their own.
