There is a vast distinction between an auto license and the right to bear arms. You have no right to drive an auto, that is a priviledge bestowed upon you by the state, and it has the right to regulate it, and it has the right to take it away.

As for the right to bear arms, that's not a privilege the gov't bestows on you, it's your inherent right, the gov't cannot take it away from you.
