Walgreen Sues Rite Aid, CVS Caremark and Shopko Over Patent Related to Refills by Mobile Phones Bloomberg

Walgreen Co. (WAG) has sued Rite Aid Corp.(RAD) , CVS Caremark Corp.(CVS) and Shopko Stores Inc., alleging misappropriation of Walgreen(WAG) technology for refills via mobile phones, Bloomberg News reported Monday.

A spokesman for CVS said the company is "investigating this matter and cannot comment further on pending litigation," while a spokeswoman for Rite Aid(RAD) declined to comment and a spokeswoman for Shopko didn't immediately respond to requests for comment, Bloomberg reported.
