For the first few? Yes. That is is what rework stations are for. How else are they going to do it? This demo is a science fair project. Given that Intel is the weakest in servers, they rushed it. As soon as they could get some units, however small, that met clock rate criteria, they did the demo. It is called a face-saving event. It doesn't have anything to do with being smart, it has everything to do with reading between the lines. Intel needs to demonstrate a superior server product. They can't do it 65nm vs. 90nm, they lose. So they extrapolate.
