I don't really see how the smaller ARM players like AMD can compete.
Last I checked, AMD still isn't even an ARM player.
I'm still trying to figure out how they funded both an x86 as well as an ARM roadmap. My guess is that they had to shut down or reduce a number of programs to do it, and I'm just waiting to see which x86 programs were impacted.
