One thing you have to be wary of before predicting any Big Iron's demise is that sales are very cyclical where the cycle is tied to the release of new generations. If you are going to fork out six-seven figures on a enterprise server you have to make it count and make it a significant improvement each time. So sales rise and falls can be very lumpy for that reason. Expect a spike on Power 8 release.
