For one or two of the publicly traded stocks this is key to just surviving. For most it doesn't matter. The private sector will take most of the profits and these shell companies are already saddled with to much debt.

Of course but that doesn't change anything EXCEPT for the one company that is funded by a person in the GOP.

Yes. But, none of that changes the first point above. Also, HEMP and MJ are legal throughout the world and if it can be imported unless it is covered under the Farm Sub bill it will be cheaper to buy from over seas.
