Bruce Booth of Atlas Ventures thinks 2014 will be another strong year for biotech IPOs, despite the recent sell-off in the broad market; Booth is quoted in an article on the IPO (and 43% first-day pop) of care.com (not a biotech company):

Bruce Booth, a partner at Atlas Venture in Cambridge, said the boom will also include many local biotech firms. “Eleven or 12 companies are on the road right now” pitching their shares to likely underwriters, Booth said.
