Uh Oh....you've touched a nerve there. I've been "battling" deer for years...that is, to keep them out of my veggie garden. I tried everything known to man and believe me some of the suggested methods were truly bizarre.

Now this might sound cruel to you but keep in mind there is plenty here for them to eat and I even provide water for them when we are in the midst of a drought (like now)...

...okay...I finally "wired" my garden and one flower bed. Electric wire...I've inadvertently touched the thing a couple of times and it does hurt but it didn't kill me.

Now I'm not a bad person...in spite of what Buckaroo might tell you but dang it, Fern...my own veggies taste so much better than those from the supermarket. I'm sure your sister would agree with me.

Where does she live, BTW? I live in SouthCentral Texas, in a mid-sized town, and am in the city limits, ...but we have such a large deer population around here I may as well be living out in the boonies.
