So now you're implying that BOTH Ottelini and BK are "suckers"?

BK's job is not going to be easy, that's for sure.

Do you think you could discredit yourself as an objective
reporter any more than you have?

(a) I'm not a reporter.

(b) You take me too literally. If you don't think Otellini bailed in order to leave the mess that Intel is in to somebody else, then I don't know what to tell you. Even the board of directors was caught completely off guard by his retirement.

As we are now seeing, there were a lot of problems that didn't come to the surface until Otellini was long gone. Those problems are costing us, the shareholders, money in this bull market.

Intel's smartphone market share is still near zero, Bay Trail turned out to have far too bloated a BoM to be profitable (and it's late on Android), Haswell-ULT ramped late, DCG's growth is not as robust as expected, and 14 nanometer got delayed.

BK has a LOT to take responsibility for here, even though the issues we're seeing now weren't a result of his decisions.
