that Bay Trail wasn't even meant to be on Android until recently(!!)

... I do not understand. If Clovertrail+ was on Android, then why not BayTrail ? It should be be a difficult port to BayTrail, to account for new instructions and power modes ? Unless the Clovertrail port was a 32 bit port, and Intel made a late decision to switch to 64 bits.

I understood why Intel chose to focus on Windows in 2012, when in early 2012, Android on Tablets did not appear to be the runaway sucess it became. But not porting Android to Baytrail in 2013 is not understandable,unless someone was trying to appease Ballmer.
