Uhhh, no. 3GHz opterons won't "blow away" 3GHz Woodcrest, quite the other way around. QC will not be an issue just like 64 bits is not an issue now. In time, OK. Not now. By that time, of course, Intel will be in full production with QC as it's needed. Same thing with Vista. 64 bits in mobile will be there when Intel can provide it. That's pretty obvious.

AMD shouldn't be concerned, as you point out since they will be able to have a good percentage of the "new" market activity. OTOH, AMD investors should be. The drop from 40+ will be to 20 min (was 18 a few months ago) as I predicted before.
