Should we call that rework at all? As far as I understand, Opteron design is almost as old as Athlon, just the product is more complicated and it took a while. Heck, HTT alone can take two years.

So, instead of calling Hammer "Athlon on steroids", probably we should call Athlon "Hammer with only one ball".
