My tune has largely changed because everything that I held to be true about Intel's progress in the mobile space has come into serious question. I had hoped Bay Trail would be shipping in Android devices today (it's not), and I had hoped that Merrifield would be a lot more competitive than it's looking to be.

Essentially, I've spent years doing a significant amount of work on this thesis and it's devastating to see many of the fundamental tenets of that thesis come into question. Maybe the folks who simply buy calls/sell puts for 1%/month don't understand what it's like to have a thesis that you've spend years working on, but when you've put the time and energy into this name that I have only see it all come crashing down...well, it sucks.

If you're accusing me a closet short or having sold some calls on my position, then I'm pretty deeply offended considering that my publishers have strict disclosure requirements and, TMF in particular, has strict trading requirements.

I haven't executed a trade on anything Intel in months...and my last one was a purchase of a decent block of shares at $22.91. http://seekingalpha.com/author/ashraf-eassa/stocktalk/28778672
