Hi Dan, silver vs. gold is not an easy question for me. The answer in my mind is both. I made my first (very small) precious-metals purchase on Friday, and I got silver. I don't feel a need to rush into either one, but the potential silver ETF suggests to me that silver has more short-term "upside risk" for those yet to dip their toes in.
