Sorry to butt in but,.....

Indicators are updated during the current session according to the current price. Therefore the indicators read the same before and after a fat finger because the daily chart does not display intraday values but instead it displays current values and then closing values. The only exceptions are indicators that display "Range" like the Zig-Zag indicator. The problem "Fat-finger" causes is it "shrinks" the available data so it is hard to read with precision or accuracy but there is a few tricks that can be used to remedy this.

I do not find "Fat fingers" to be destructive to the charts at all.

However, it does "shrink" the available data so it is to small to easily read accurately.

(I did not put IMO on purpose)
