Court Order Gets Everybody Talking in Preparation for January 13th Date

In response to questions pertaining to the latest on MMR’s patent litigation and the upcoming January 13th hearing: On December 9th, the court ordered MyMedicalRecords, Inc. (MMR) and all defendants Walgreens, Quest Diagnostics, Jardogs, Allscripts and WebMD to appear in court on January 13th to coordinate claim-construction in the MMR related cases.
To facilitate discussions in the hearing, the judge also ordered that all parties in the cases, which involve MMR’s ‘466 and ‘883 patents, collaborate in preparation for the upcoming hearing, which MMR initiated and is ongoing to get everybody talking.
In the court order it states that the purpose of the hearing is to join defendants “if such consolidation will facilitate the just, speedy and inexpensive disposition of the actions.” The judge also ordered that all parties be ready to propose acceptable dates to “streamline Markman” in all related cases where the original January court dates were for the purpose of Markman in the Walgreen matter only.
The Company will continue to take all opportunities to facilitate a speedy resolution to these matters and looks forward to meeting all parties on January 13th.
