Small Cap Society Beginners Portfolio
I have an account with only $671.61 and I will be building that account up with a goal of ending the year of 2014 with a substantial increase to show people that you CAN build a small account up, with a SMALL amount of funds to start. $671.61 is an odd amount lol, but instead of waiting for a week for a new account to open, I just used what was left in one of my TD Ameritrade accounts.
I will be trading mostly AMEX/NYSE/NASDAQ under $10, as low as .20 level, really just whatever look setup to run. I have other accounts with a lot bigger $$$ in it, so for this challenge, I will say "SCS Portfolio" as the heading when I make a buy/sell from this account. I will log the trades, show screen shots from time to time, etc, and see what we can do with this $671.61!! It should be very very fun and exciting, as well as challenging, because one crap trade at the start, ends the challenge lol. I have margin enabled, so I don't have to wait for anything to clear, but do have the PDT rules to abide by. I am opening a profit.ly account so all trades are verifiable. Link here
