Barrow Regional Medical Center recentaly engaged Kleansweep Sanitation to spray the ByoSolve Infection Control System application at our facility. The results were outstanding, completely disinfecting the areas sprayed. Colony Forming Units (CFU’s) that contribute to infections were reduced to zero as measured by an ATP Measuring device and stayed consistently at zero for a minimum of six days during the study.

Since 2009, the Georgia Hospital Association has recognized our hospital as one of only twelve in the state for the Chairman’s Honor roll, the highest category in quality.
In keeping with our commitment of providing quality care and ensuring patient safety, we conducted a study using the ByoSolve Infection Control System. Initial surface counts (CFU’s) were performed and recorded. Our inital target areas included our operating rooms and adjacent, related rooms. The application took only minutes to apply resulting in bacteria free, odorless safe environment with all CFU counts falling to zero after only one application. This method ensured that our Environmental Services team need not worry about a missed surface or location as the electro-static application device deliveredthe infection control product to all areas including: under beds, bed rails, wiring, behind pictures, lighting and vents up to a 6” penetration. It is non-corrosive, dries in minutes, has no odor and covers all surfaces; plastic, vinyl, metal, wood ceramics, steel, plastics, and soft fabrics.
By using this EPA approved infection control system, Barrow Regional is offering its patients and staff an increased level of safety. The ByoSolve Infection Control System insures an environment stays pathogen free for up to six days and more importantly protects against transference from one person to another from contaminated contact surfaces.
