Yes, but had he been able t attempt the kick from where the penalty would have placed the ball, he might well have made it. I don't even care who won or lost, I'm just tired of refs screwing up. All the ones in the Pac-12 are downright incompetent. That's college. Every week the NFL says someone screwed up a call that could have changed the outcome of the game. That shouldn't happen. Let alone every damn week.
