So obviously Jim wanted to build an e-mail list. Jim made it clear that he created an e-mail address strictly for the purpose of sending reports when they are available. Jim said to send an e-mail to the new address if you wanted to receive the new reports. Therefore, it can be concluded that the sole purpose of the resulting e-mail list was to send out reports when available. Again you were the only person out of hundreds in the list who failed to comprehend this.
