Actually, one of my ATM's is a major user of "nanotechnology", their slurries are all based on nano particles. I personally feel that for quite some time, nanotechnology will have striking similarities with GaAs, the later was and still is "the material of the future", the former was and still is "the technology of the future" I am saying this despite the fact that I am working myself on an aspect of nanotechnology which I think will have much faster applications, but no one will call this "nanotechnology" just as no one is calling CCMP's slurries "nanotechnology" (g).
