Bush speech lifts Ormat on flat TASE

Tel Aviv tech stocks advanced but blue chips ended unchanged after a volatile session on Thursday. The TA-25 index ended unchanged at 827.5 points, the TA-100 index rose 0.1% to 849.1 points and the TelTech-15 index rose 0.9%. Turnover remained at the new heavy norm of NIS 1.1 billion.

Ormat Industries jumped 5.3%. Some think it's because U.S. president George Bush suddenly upped and declared Americans to be addicted to oil, indicating that to be a bad thing. Ormat specializes in "green" energy generation.
