I spent the majority of my time fishing for muskies or hybrid stripers. I don't think I've ever gotten bored catching them. I've gotten plenty bored not catching them though.

I had a close buddy that was just as hard core about fishing as I was. He worked days and fished on weekends, and I worked weekends and hit it during the week. We kept in touch with each other on what and where it was working. When gas got over $4 a gallon, I sold my truck and boat and started obsessing on the market instead. It's much cheaper.
