abbams...I havent gone through all your questions...but already I can tell you lack of knowledge or failure to focus on its technology and what they are articulating is blurring your understanding.
You note:
"•Sphere 3D is the only solution where the server side is compatible with any OS (E.g. Android, iOS, Windows) due to its agnostic nature, while other solutions are compatible only with Windows. "
the you question:
Who cares what the server side is ? you install once on one server (let's say windows) and it works on ANY platform "
"LETS SAY WINDOWS"...IMHO a little disingenuous because Citrix does not operate on the any other operating system...its inability to operate with iPhone/iPad access is a biggie...look at numbers. And when you add the trend BYOD...where your company is Windows based you have an iPhone..what good is their Citrix solution to you?...They can support BYOD with Citrix!
so:
1. BINGO ...first major advantage of Glassware...and its a biggie... "cross platform operating system access" (agnostic nature)...esp as more majors are gravitate out of Windows OS is huge.
2. BINGO ...79% of the Major corps NOT ON THE CLOUD ...are going to gravitate to a Non-Universal Access solution for mobile device access on the cloud?
3. BINGO...no other mobile solution supports BYOD...so IMHO..100% of the Majors are up for grabs...
sorry ... but I dont have time to go through the remainder of your comments...no need to ..
Study up more then comment on the board regarding your doubts...the first two were very basic ...for a "cloud expert".
Ps. I introduce technologies to Hedge Funds too...DSNY with whom you are so enamored with...went over their heads too...so its no pedigree IMHO...
