Well whad'ya know -- all the rumors about the business trip to Cha hospital in Korea might have been true after all. Skeptic in me considers the possibility that the picture could have been taken anywhere, but a pair of Asian eyes in the background and the letters CH on the gown do look subtly convincing.

Now that the visit has been confirmed, there is a relevant observation that I came across while reading up on adipose stromal vascular fraction cells. One of the papers (PMID: 24281640) compared head-to-head four mainstream enzyme-powered isolation systems. One of the devices was CHA Biotech ChaStation. Considering that CHA Biotech is located across the street or two from the main CHA Hospital, it is reasonable to assume that this is the technology currently used at the hospital. Well, it failed miserably on every level when compared to Cytori's Celution (See images below). Could it be that the CEO's visit to Korea was the trial run of Intellicell's tech by the hospital that has found itself losing the cutting edge in the field? I don't know. We will have to wait and see. But should that be the case, adoption of Intellicell's technology by a hospital so renowned worldwide would be not just a step, but a leap forward.

The systems used in comparison:

Yield of key cell populations:

Residual protease (enzyme) activity:
(Note that this is NOT good, and that Intellicell eliminates this factor all together by not using enzymes at all)

This post is my personal opinion. I do not provide investment advice.
