Won't be around much for a while. I found out after the market closed that my father passed away of a heart attack this morning.
I am passionate about the markets and trading stocks. I gained much of that passion from my father, who was a broker and partner in a major firm for all of his professional career, and worked with the SEC after his retirement as a special consultant. Through my father, I learned much about researching the fundamentals of a company, studying market mentality, and diversifying a portfolio. For his time, guidance, and knowledge, I am thankful. Without it, I wouldn't be able to do what I enjoy so much. I will miss him very much.
He and I had some rocky years, and there were things I wish I had the chance to say to him. Which is a reminder to all of us to sieze the opportunity when you have it.
