Tonight : Salesforce-CRM trying to prove model can continue to flourish-Barron's Online

Despite the fact that Salesforce.com's (CRM) stock has surged over 200% in the last year the company is under pressure to show that’s its model and software is more broadly applicable. The company is now facing challenges from Microsoft (MSFT), Oracle (ORCL) and SAP (SAP) who are beginning to roll out versions of software that can be accessed over the web. Salesforce needs to make sure that its shareholders understand that their ambitious growth of the past may have raised expectations for future appreciation too high, and they must be tempered.
