08:30 ET GDP rises 1.6% versus 2.3% consensus


08:38 ET Advance Q1 GDP Detail : Based on the initial response, it looks as if this number is considered old news.  Advance Q1 GDP rose a smaller-than-expected 1.6% versus Q4 2002 growth of 1.4%.  Final sales came in at 1.4% -- smaller than expected -- and government spending of just 0.9% provided the largest surprise.
