Mish, did you see the movie "Pollack"? Jackson Pollack (played by Ed Harris), the great American painter was asked about spilled paint on the canvas during a radio interview explaining his drip method of painting.

He said, "I deny the accident." In other words, if paint drips or spills, it's because he had intended it to or it was meant to be, not because it slipped out of his control.

I deny the triple top. It is rare that it does happen. For that reason, I deny it as a valid T/A formation that should be respected as the end of the price action in that area.

Anyway, as you've discovered, they are rare. To respect them is to be whipsawed by them.
