How Much is 100 Billion?

It is estimated that there are 100 billion (100000000000) neurons in the human brain

It's taken 93 years to make that many Crayola crayons.
We know it's a lot... But still, it's hard to picture just what 100 billion crayons would look like. Here are some ideas:

* If laid end to end, they would reach the moon and back 12 times.
* They could circle the equator 240 times
* They could be laid across North America, from coast to coast, more than 1,900 times.
* They would fill 1,730 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
* If we handed out 100 billion crayons today, every man, woman and child in the world would each have their own 16-count box of
Crayola crayons. If we handed them out just in the U.S., each person would have four 96 boxes.
* If stacked end to end, 100 billion Crayola crayons would be 268 million times taller than the World Trade Center.
* 100 billion crayons would create a drawing that would cover
35,000 square miles. You could color in the whole state of Maine, and still have enough crayon left over for Rhode Island!
