One way to take a screen snapshot is to press control and print screen button to capture the screen. Then open your paint program and hit edit/paste. Then you can hit file/save as and save it as a .bmp file. You could also use IRfanview or other programs to do it.

If you want to save only a part of that screen you can crop it with the paint program.
