Thanks, one alteration <<Under the SEC's rules, a drop of 350 points in the Dow would bring a 30-minute halt in NYSE trading.>> it is my understanding market does not halt now until Dow drops 10%.
That since we did have a halt episode post 1997, and they revised halt to occur at 10%.
Which leaves one to presume any of indexes dropping faster in % than DOW will not trigger a stop.
But not sure.
