New highs is only one parameter of many. Early in April 2002 I had a buy signal which was reversed on 4/22 if memory served for failing to hold the 1757 or so area on the retrench from the week run before, the 1390 here is very similar. I expect failure (one of the reasons that despite breaching 1425 I did not unzip my bear suit).
