I do have a novel theory regarding that. Of course just about every convertible note arrangement I have read over the last five years includes a clause regarding a note holder not also shorting a stock going into the conversion - But there is no preclusion against any of the other vulture capitalists shorting the stock.

After all, they are all in it together right? They don't want to wind up like BCAP, Barren Capital lol.... (pun intended)
