Well I grew up a Catholic and attended Catholic schools and the nuns were about as anti-semitic as you could get thinking the Jews killed Christ their husband so to speak.

In 7th Grade I ask the sister in class how come you don't blame the Italians as it was the Italian Soldiers who nailed him to the cross and an Italian Soldier who speared him and an Italian Oversear/Governor who convicted him. She got visibly upset and said I shouldn't question Christ's teaching. So I said - "Where does he teach that" and she just stared at me and asked to see her after class where I just had to sit there until she finished and went to the Convent.

If they really understood Christianity they would thanks the Jews because it was all part of god's plan and they really had no choice as they were just actors on a stage. But bigots and religious people who don't have a good understanding of their religion a vessels of hate.
