And as to the deficiency in the TOU in that it does not distinguish between welcome naysayers and unwelcome crappers - do you agree? will it be addressed? how will you draw the line?

Classic straw man argument; begin with a false premise (that there is a deficiency in the TOU) and then proceed to criticise others for not addressing or solving it.

However "you" define it, read their lips (or the web between their fingers), "crappers" who do not violate the TOU are welcome on every board on IHub, however anyone decides to define "crappers."

The difference you seek to hook them with (and the one they have been quite controlling in not biting) is content. Thankfully, this site does not limit content that is civil just because others do not like it, find it frustrating, or wish to label it as "crappy." Frankly, you are pissing in the wind to think that any argument you make is likely to convince them (or the vast majority of those who use this site) to start editing and controlling content beyond the TOU.

Edit -- the fact that the word "crappers" is not part of the speel chucker ought to make things real clear.
