Facts and opinions both move stocks and that is my OPINION. Most of what is on a message board is opinions with a few carefully selected facts thrown is to support what is being said whether it be positive or negative.
Long term, fundamentals end up driving the stock price, not opinion.
Short term, opinion drives most stocks, especially penny stocks. The recent run-up to .168 was likely driven by both a new CEO coming on board and an SA article. This would be an example of an opinion driven run-up. The opinion being the new CEO was going to be far better than the old CEO.
Fact: Most people on this board said the CC was great. Whether it was or wasn't is entirely a different question. Fact: The price went down after the CC to where it is today. Do the two things have anything to do with each other, maybe, maybe not.
One should keep in mind that there are many types of people invested in this and other stocks. Some day trade, some swing trade, some are long term investors who won't sell a share for many year,...
A question for you, do you think that a poison pill helps every type of investor or is it just targeted at the buy and hold investor?
And that is my opinion, which feel free to completely ignore.
