Los Angeles: A neo-Nazi white supremacist has been charged with terrorising the people of a small US town that he wants to take over and turn into a white enclave.

Craig Cobb, 62, was arrested in Leith, North Dakota, while carrying out what he called an "armed patrol". Mr Cobb has bought 13 properties in Leith, flying swastika flags, and wants to take over the local government. Residents sought help at the weekend because they claimed Mr Cobb and Kynan Dutton, 29, a follower, were confronting them with guns.

I would suggest to him that he leave that place and leave those people alone

Lee Cook, a Leith City councillor, who moved his family out of the town several weeks ago, told the Bismarck Tribune: "Hell, that's what we've been through. Everybody's been terrorised."
