mick-For Jan. it has been fantastic. Warmest Jan. on record. It has not gone below zero once and has had highs mostly in the 30's. Today it's going to get up to 47. I know that still sounds cold to most of you, but for us it is warm.

The St. Paul Winter Carnival is having some problems. They are trying to make ice sculptors. They work in the middle of the night & cover them during the day. The only outside ice rinks you can skate on are the ones that have refrigeration pipes underneath.

All the cold weather went from the pole down into Russia.
