Merck-MRK CEO says ready to buy biotech firms with established sales-Reuters

09:48 EDT MRK Panacos Pharma-PANC moves higher on takeover speculation "again"-Rumor
Merck has been mentioned as a suitor following the CEO's comments they would look to buy larger biotech companies. Not sure if PANC qualifies as "larger", but expect more further conjecture in other names today.
