Tamboran Resources boosts NT gas supply with Arafura deal

Tamboran Resources Ltd CEO Joel Riddle talked with Proactive about the company's newly signed letter of intent (LOI) with Arafura Resources Ltd to supply gas from the Beetaloo Basin. Riddle explained that both companies are based in the Northern Territory, and the agreement supports local strategic projects by providing 25 terajoules (TJs) per day to Arafura's critical minerals project. The agreement aligns with Tamboran’s strategy of prioritising Northern Territory gas use. “We’re a Northern Territory company. We’ve been focused on appraising the Beetaloo Basin now for all 12 years I’ve been in my job,” Riddle said, highlighting the company’s long-term commitment to the region. Riddle also pointed out the environmental edge of Beetaloo Basin gas, which has a CO2 content of about 3%, significantly lower than the 15–20% typically found in other Australian basins. He said supplying this low-carbon gas to the East Coast would help reduce emissions by displacing higher-carbon alternatives. Discussing supply capacity, Riddle compared the Beetaloo to the Marcellus Shale in the US, noting it could provide enough gas to support the East Coast for “hundreds of years”. Tamboran plans to bring 40 TJs per day online in the first half of next year under an existing 15-year agreement with the NT Government. The Arafura deal will add a further 25 TJs daily. Riddle said work is underway with pipeline partner APA to ensure infrastructure capacity. The company aims to finalise a binding gas sales agreement with Arafura soon. Krakatoa’s antimony-gold find signals major upside

Krakatoa Resources Ltd chairman Colin Locke talked with Proactive about the company’s newly secured Zopkhito Project in Georgia, which he described as a major opportunity for investors. The project contains a JORC resource of 225,000 tonnes of high-grade antimony at 11% for 26,000 tonnes of metal, translating to a back-of-the-envelope valuation of approximately $1.30 billion based on current prices. Additionally, the project includes 7.1 million tonnes grading 3.7g/t gold for 815,000 ounces, estimated to be worth around $2.50 billion. Locke said, “This is touted to be the sixth biggest antimony project in the world.” The mineralisation is close to surface, and the company believes the resource has strong potential for expansion. He also highlighted the project’s additional gold content as another value driver. He attributed the company’s success in securing the project to its CEO and chief technical officer, Mark Major, whose experience in high-altitude exploration was a key factor for the local vendors. The project’s location in Georgia was described as highly investor-friendly, with a 15% corporate tax rate, no native title or land access complications, and strong support for foreign investment. Locke confirmed that a maiden drilling program is scheduled to begin shortly, with Major heading to Georgia next week to prepare. He emphasised the company’s past success with international projects and reassured investors of the team’s experience. Nevis Brands doubles revenue in 2024, cuts losses & expands in key Markets

Nevis Brands CEO John Kueber joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s financial results for fiscal year 2024 and the fourth quarter ending November 30, 2024. Nevis reported $1.56 million in revenue, more than doubling its 2023 sales as it expanded into new markets and introduced new cannabis products. The company narrowed its net loss to approximately $362,000, down from $400,000 the previous year. When excluding interest, depreciation, and amortization, the adjusted loss was reduced to about $58,000. Nevis maintained its leading position in Washington’s cannabis beverage market and achieved the second-best sales ranking in Missouri within its first year in that state. The company also made significant progress in debt reduction, cutting current liabilities from $1.12 million to about $573,000 through debt payments and restructuring. Looking ahead to 2025, Nevis expects continued growth driven by expanding sales of its Happy Apple and Major brands in the hemp-derived THC beverage market. The company also looking for market re-entry in Ohio and Arizona following previous licensing and market shifts. All this happening while the company focused on licensing established products in key markets. Kueber acknowledged that the fourth quarter was challenging, with revenue declines due to licensing and market shifts in Arizona, Ohio, Oregon, and California. ACG Metals CFO says hold hedge strategy is already paying off

ACG Metals Ltd chief financial officer Patrick Henze talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s recently announced gold hedging strategy and its importance during ACG’s transition phase from precious to base metals. Henze explained that while ACG Metals is ultimately targeting copper production from its Gediktepe mine in Turkey by 2026, the mine currently generates strong cash flow from gold and silver. The company has moved to hedge 50% of its gold production at US$2,875 per ounce through January 2026, helping secure revenue in a volatile pricing environment. He noted: “We are currently producing gold and silver, which is a perfect transition for us to become a copper producer in ’26… we can benefit and protect a bit the cash flows by hedging the gold.” The hedge program, executed with Alpha, involves no cash outlay and allows ACG to retain upside exposure above US$3,065 per ounce on the hedged portion. Henze emphasised this strategy helps ACG provide more certainty to bondholders and equity investors by de-risking key financial metrics for 2025.
