I see two auspicious signs in CC Transcript;

1. Bus knows how to offer up a reason for postponement that
is palatable to his nibs.
2. bus' offer to still pay the fees
[even though sammys refusal to accept did both moot the case and the ability to collect]
has his nibs arguing bus's case. His nibs even extrapolated an uplift and ~offered that, and sammy declined.

Both of these signs point to bus' improved ability to anticipate
acceptable, 'reasonable' behaviors in VA.
