Hi Fuagf, I saw the Pope holding and kissing a man today with a horrible disease.. It was a most beautiful special moment.

I could barely stand the sight of so much love and acceptance from Francis... F6 said one time that the Pope was no good (in his way, in F6's way) ... said that he had been planning (I think he really meant the 'planning in a derogatory way, not sure) for this moment . .meaning to be Pope his entire life ... It got me to thinking ( dangerous .. ;)) .. and it seems to me that most of us plan for what we want our entire lives .. until we achieve that ... or find something else that by accident rather than design, makes us feel fulfilled and full of confidence & achievement .. ;) ...When I see this Pope do stuff like this .. and I see the look on his face and no shyness about touching this particular man ..where I am sure that MOST people look away when they see him coming .. ... It was a most spiritual and a truly teaching moment for all of us ... IF ONLY... ;) ..more of us had this opportunity to show this love and acceptance .. Could we do it ? The pope then laid his hands on the man’s head and began to pray.

POPE FRANCIS__True power is service. The Pope must serve all people, especially the poor, the weak, the vulnerable.

As he carried out his typical greeting of pilgrims at the conclusion of the general audience, Pope Francis paused for several minutes to receive the sick man in his arms.

Pope Francis__True charity requires courage: let us overcome the fear of getting our hands dirty so as to help those in need.
