"My favorite SARS play is APT. so many asians are seen wearing their masks now."

You may be right, but any number of folks can (and do -- MMM is one) make masks and it would be a relatively inexpensive market to enter as the demand rises.
I added to a position in ICN this morning. After an initial run when SARS first started hitting the news, all the folks who bought then have been dumping into much lighter volume and that appears over, with the stock acting better today. This past weekend the WHO (World Health Organization) again said that heavy doses of ribavirin (ICN's drug) with steroids is the only effective treatment so far for SARS and in Hong Kong they are beginning to treat all cases early with that regimen.
I continue to think that ICN could make another run on SARS, especially if an outbreak occurs in the US, which seems probable. Should that occur, ICN could get some legs if it still has the only effective treatment if only from an emotional standpoint. Fundamentally, it seems to be relatively inexpensive and pays a dividend, but I am buying it as a potential story stock (one nice thing about story stocks is that sometimes they do even better in weak markets since there is less competition.)
