Yes, but the reason one should short near the top of the box (and not after the breach of the top) is so that you can limit your losses in case a new box is in the making, give it another day or two, but right now you are already in the $16.5 to $19.5 box. In the case of BRCM, I think that that double gap between $14 and $15.25 or so, will save you and will seek to get closed, that kind of structure is quite a magnet...
