nobody gets to enforce their religious diktats on others, directly or through our government/law -- whether or not you conjure that your (hardly uniquely) quite completely unseen god and the church fabricated around him, as much a secular, i.e. human, creation as any other aspect of human culture and institution that's ever been, has commanded you otherwise

we aren't the ones seeking an absolutist authoritarianism -- any assertion to the contrary is ridiculous
