Well, if that time raises it's gnarly head, we'll be taking residence in a far off & remote mountainous place. I will take my leave of those who care for this madness to their business.
That's the one thing my wife has said. She feels confident I could keep us alive in dire straits. I hope it should never come to that.
My grandfather survived on frozen turnips in Russia during WWI and lost a wife and child to that war. He was a idealistic young emmigre from Germany back then. I relate such much to what is happening now, because of stories he told me about then.
