I'm concerned too, Balance, on the poorly defined timeframe. Oil Min da Costa's "mid-Feb" means almost a month's JMC delay. Why? That's the crucial question. Political gridlock in STP may not be enough of an answer.
Nigeria's (and JDA's) apparent silence can't mean lack of action/concern on Abuja's part, imo. Undoubtedly, there's lots of talk/clarification/pressure taking place behind the curtain.
Meantime, I'm sticking with Lusa on da Costa's "mid-Feb" date. Platts' "one week" postponement came out one day (?) earlier and cited a lower echelon figure, head of Nat'l Oil Agency. The Guardian article´s "still this weekend" (which is still online, contrary to Joe's reported removal), is simply a cobbled, time-warped piece, imo.
Too bad iHub doesn't allow for highlighted editing. It certainly would ease the use of our board by a media or other visitor.
Heading into the hills shortly, but look forward to reading back in this eve when I'll check out Lusophone sources.
"Bom dia,"
